Siasia Picks Alampasu,Awoniyi, Sokari, 28 Others for All African Games


Nigeria U-23 coach Samson Siasia has picked 31 players for the Dream Team VI's camping exercise for the 11th All African Games billed for Congo Brazzaville.
Lucky Jimoh, Bright Onyedikachi and Olisah Ndah were handed a call up in the squad that boasts of five foreign based players. Usual suspects, Taiwo Awoniyi, Kingsley Sokari and Junior Ajayi whose contributions were key in the team's qualification for the sporting event also have a chance to battle for a place in the final squad.
Nigeria's Dream Team VI got zoned in a veritable 'Group of Death' where they will be facing two-time champions Egypt, rivals Ghana and Senegal in Group B. The football event of the quadrennial African multisport event will hold from September 3-18, 2015. Nigeria's only triumph came on home soil in 1973 in Lagos.
