Oliseh to solve tricky full back positions in Super Eagles' fold
Abuja - Super Eagles head coach Sunday Oliseh says he is determined to solve the problematic full back positions in his team.
The African giant have struggled to find decent full back players in recent times.
Former coach of the team Stephen Keshi has experimented Elderson Echiejille, Juwon Oshaniwa, Benjamin Francis and Solomon Kwambe in the past.
Celtic's Efe Ambrose has also been deployed as a make-shift player for the right-back position in the past.
With Nigeria anxious to qualify for the next African Cup of Nations, the former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder says he's gritty to solve the age-long problem in the team.
“I know the full-back positions have always been an issue which I intend to address quickly,” Oliseh said.
“I have seen some really good players. We have to take a look at them again and see how it goes.
“It doesn’t matter whether you’re home or abroad, I believe we can solve the problem in those positions. Because there are many good players in the system.”
