Lucky Omeruo is training with big brother Kenneth at Kasimpasa in Turkey

Nigeria U20 and U23 invitee Lucky Omeruo is training with Turkish club Kasimpasa, who recently took his brother Kenneth on loan from Chelsea, and he could well be offered a contract.

Kenneth Omeruo’s adviser Chika Conleth Akujobi told AfricanFootball.com the younger Omeruo has begun training with Kasimpasa in Turkey after he impressed at a recent pre-season tournament in Malta.

“Lucky is with Kasimpasa,” Akujobi told AfricanFootball.com

“I invited the head scout of the Turkish club to watch him in a pre-season tournament in Malta and they liked what they saw, so we flew to Turkey Wednesday and he started training the following day with the first team.

“The initial idea of the team was he will do trials with the reserves, but after watching him against Valeta, where he was man of the match, the Kasimpasa scouts told their club he should train along with his brother in the first team.

“Now we just have to wait and see how it goes.”

Last season, Lucky helped Pembroke Athleta FC win a first-ever promotion to the top flight in Malta.
