Following the release of Super Eagles list for the match against Tanzania. Nigerian soccer loving fans has expressed various opinions on their take as regards the list.

Petonsports:What is your take on the omission of notable names in Oliseh's list?

Guzman: Much as i would have loved to see Moses and Iheanacho in the list, I clearly understand Coach sunday Oliseh's reasons for the omission. The reason is simple; There is need to maintain standard and encourage Nigerian players to seek for first team action wherever they find themselves. He was clear when he was interviewed on players playing for Big clubs who sits on the bench week in week out. He made it clear that the door is open for such players as long as they play, he went on to encourage them to request to go on loan to clubs where they will get first team actions. Notable, in this group includes Mikel, Moses(Chelsea) Iheanacho (M.City) V.Anichebe, B.Ideye (Westbrom). E.Ambrose (Celtic). E.Echegile (Monaco).

Petonsports: Do you think this group can get victory for Nigeria in Tanzania?

Guzman: I think they whole thing will depend on the coaches strategy and ability to build a team within this very short period.

Petonsporst: Do you think Nigeria will qualify for AFCON?

Guzman: Certainly, i have no doubts in the ability of the new coach and i believe he will use his experience as as grade a FIFA licensed coach to forge a new playing pattern that will enable Nigeria Conquer again.

I am extremely suprised at the squad selection. However i am interested in seeing how the boys play and hope it would spark a new dawn in Nigerian Football.
