Clinton N’Jie to undergo Tottenham medical

Clinton N’Jie to undergo Tottenham medical
Olympique Lyonnais winger Clinton N’Jie is set to fly to London to complete his move to Premier League heavyweights Tottenham, according to reports.

The two sides have settled on a transfer fee of £10 million plus an additional £1.5 million performance-based bonus, and the 21-year-old Cameroon international is now about to undergo his medical and finalise personal terms with Spurs.

N’Jie signing will be good news for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has been desperate to boost his attacking force with Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado being deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane ahead of the season.

And the Cameroonian could be shortly followed by West Bromwich’s England U-21 hitman Saido Berahino, who has been strongly linked with a move away from the Hawthorns this summer.

Clinton N’Jie, who scored 7 goals for as many assists in 30 Ligue 1 appearances last season, made his international debut for Cameroon against DR Congo in September 2014.

He competed at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with the Indomitable Lions, for whom he has earned 11 caps and scored 6 goals.

Spurs kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford last Saturday, and will now be looking to bounce back against Stoke City at White Hart Lane this weekend.
