Liverpool revive interest in Lazio starlet Keita Baldé

Liverpool are looking to reignite their interest in Lazio’s 20-year-old striker Keita Baldé, according to Corriere Dello Sport.

After already trying to sign the former Barcelona academy talent last summer, the Reds are set to launch a new bid for Baldé before the end of the transfer window, with the starlet valued at around €15million.

The Spanish-Senegalese, who is still eligible to represent the country of his parents and join the Teranga Lions, joined the Serie A outfit from Barcelona in a €300,000 move in the summer of 2011, making his senior debut for Lazio against Chievo in September 2013.

Keita Baldé has scored six goals in 48 Serie A appearances for the ‘Biancocelesti’.

Liverpool got their 2015-2016 Premier League campaign off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday, and will be looking to keep their momentum going when they host promoted outfit Bournemouth at Anfield next Monday.
