Victor Moses says West Ham can upset Man City
Victor Moses has said West Ham are capable of upsetting Manchester City when both clubs clash at the Ettihad this weekend.

“We can upset Manchester City and get the three points,” said Victor Moses after he got off to a winning start at West Ham with a 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Monday.

The Chelsea loanee showed his pace, power and overall ability in a debut that won over the West Ham faithful at a sell-out Boleyn Ground as he received standing ovation when he was substituted for Andy Caroll.

"I thought all the lads did really well out there. We knew what to expect, the manager said ‘Go out and express yourself, make sure you enjoy the game," he said.

"I thought we worked hard together as a team, we deserved the game and we dominated really. We created a lot of chances really.

"I think I’ve settled in quickly. I just wanted to go out there and enjoy it. Everything fell into place and it felt good out there.

"You can see that we’ve got a lot of quality. Going forward we were all enjoying ourselves. Payet and Sakho were excellent and Lanzini as well. Our full-backs pushed on well which also helped, we just enjoyed ourselves really."

The 24-year-old almost capped an impressive performance with a dream debut goal.

The winger sprinted 50 yards and beat two defenders before unleashing a venomous shot which beat Tim Krul, but it smacked against the crossbar. The rebound fell to Payet who calmly side-footed the bouncing ball home to double the advantage.
