Ekigho Ehiosun Scores In Loss To Tepecikspor
Samsunspor lost 2 - 1 to Tepecikspor in the second round of the Turkish Cup on Wednesday at the Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadyumu (Esenyurt).

In his third stint with the Red Lightning, Nigeria international Ekigho Ehiosun opened his account for this season, netting after 15 minutes to give his team a 1 - 0 lead.

In the second half, Emir Gokce equalized for the 2 Lig club before Selcuk Kaban scored the game - winner from the penalty spot six minutes later.

Ekigho Ehisoun had played four matches in the second - tier, racking up 164 minutes in the process, before he netted his first goal in the 2015 - 16 campaign.

The center forward signed a two - year deal with Samsunspor in July.

Media reports from England have suggested Chelsea are ready to splash as much as 30 million pounds to sign Blaise Matuidi from PSG as replacement for Nigeria star Mikel Obi.

Mikel’s future at Stamford Bridge has remained a source of speculations even after he chose to stay put at ‘The Blues’ this season.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to axe the Nigeria international, and Tuttomercatoweb claim the French midfielder is earmarked to fill the void

Nigeria fans will remember Matuidi from last year’s World Cup when he kicked out Ogenyi Onazi out of the second round match against France in Brazil.

Matuidi, 28, is contracted to PSG until 2018, and would command a fee upwards of £30m.

Manchester United and Chelsea were both linked with the player over the summer, but neither ramped up initial interest in his services.

Matuidi has been with the French champions since a 2011 move from St-Etienne.

Nigeria striker Osaze Odemwingie has said he hopes to stay fit this season after he made his first start for Stoke City in over 12 months in a League Cup game Tuesday.

The former Lille of France striker lasted 84 minutes as Stoke City beat Fulham 1-0 to progress to the next stage of the competition.

He was replaced with six minute to the end of the game by Xherdan Shaqiri.

"First start for me in over a year. Hope I stay fit and have many more. Solid team performance today and we are through to the next round!," Osaze tweeted.

Godfrey Oboabona: He played the entire game and scored a goal as Rizespor beat Antalyaspor 5-1. He did a yeoman's job stopping Samuel Eto'o-led forward line from scoring goals. He was cautioned in the 45th minute.

Kenneth Omeruo: He was on from start to finish for Kasimpasa as they thrashed hosts Eskisehirspor 3-0. He was cautioned in the 70th minute. Raheem Lawal featured for Eskisehirspor and lasted for 71 minutes. He was cautioned.

Sylvester Igbonu: He played the full game and scored FC Ufa only goal as they lost 4-1 at Terek Grozny.

Carl Ikeme: He was an unused substitute for Wolverhampton Wanderers as they drew goalless at home with Brighton and Hove Albion.

Isaac Success: He played 61 minutes for Granada in La Liga as they lost 1-0 to Real Madrid.

Mikel Obi: He was a 90th minute substitute for Cesc Fabregas as Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0. He played the added four minutes.

Vincent Enyeama: He lasted for 69 minutes in goal for Lille before he was red carded in a 1-1 draw at Rennes.

Leon Balogun: The Mainz right back was an unused substitute on the day his team thrashed Hoffenheim 3-1.

Akeem Latifu: Aalesund of Norway right back has remained consistent for his club as he played the entire duration in a 3-1 loss to Odd Ballklubb. His compatriot Leke James scored Aalesund's consolation goal. Chukwuma Akabueze lasted 65 minutes for Odd Ballklubb.

Izunna Uzochukwu: Fit-again midfielder was an unused substitute for Amkar Perm when they drew 1-1 at Zenit St.Petersburg. Chuma Anene scored for Amkar Perm.

Elderson Echiejile: He was an unused substitute as Monaco lost 3-2 at home to Lorient.

Juwon Oshaniwa: Hearts left back missing due to red card as his team lost 3-1 at home to Aberdeen. He has played all games since he joined Hearts except this one.

Moses Simon: He was introduced in the 29th minute by Belgian champions Gent as they thrashed Standard Liege 4-1.

Joel Obi: He was an unused substitute for Torino as they beat Sampdoria 2-0.

Abdullahi Shehu: Former Kano Pillars player was an unused substitute for his Portuguese team, Uniao da Madeira when they played a goalless draw with Arouca.

Williams Troost Ekong: The defender featured for the entire duration as FK Haugesund drew goalless at home with Sarpsborg.

Rabiu Ibrahim: Not listed by Trencin in their 0-0 draw at Slovan Bratislava. Kingsley Madu played full game for Trencin.
