Shehu Abdullahi - From Kuwait to Portugal

Nigeria midfielder Shehu Abdullahi will leave for Porto with his new Portuguese club Uniao de Modeira on Monday for an eight-club competition in continuation of the team's pre-season.


The former Al Qadsia of Kuwait players told AfricanFootball.com he is delighted to debut for his team last week and now looks forward to the tournament in Porto.

"I debuted for my team in a friendly match on Wednesday with Nacional. It was a nice game, though we lost 2-0, I played 45 minutes,” Shehu informed AfricanFootball.com

“We have a tournament in Porto which will involve eight teams. I am looking forward to a good outing there."

Abdullahi has been handed jersey 14 by his new club.

Boavista are one of the teams who will feature in the competition.
