Pep Guardiola eyeing revenge against Arsenal

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola  and star player Arjen Robben who missed out the first leg will be looking to avenge his side’s defeat against Arsenal when the duo face-off in the reverse leg of their Champions League tie at Alianz Arena.
The Bavarians suffered their first loss of the season to the Gunners in a 2-0 loss in London two weeks ago, yet Guardiola is confident his side will avenge the loss on their home turf this evening.
“They are one of Europe's top sides,” the Spanish coach told reporters. “It is a new game after we lost in London. This is a match we want to win in front of our supporters. We have another 90 minutes to move closer to qualifying for the next round.”
Guardiola insists his side will deploy an attacking mentality to restrict Arsenal’s movement up the pitch.
“Arsenal like to keep the ball and attack,” he said. “We will have to adapt our defence as they will want to play their type of game. We want to press them high so they can't play out of defence. I always tell my teams to attack as much as possible and to create as many chances as possible.”
Counterpart Arsene Wenger hopes to repeat his side’s previous result against the Germans to keep their Champions League knockout qualification hopes alive.
“We will try to keep on the same path,” he said. “We want to see the performance that we showed against them in the last game. We want a positive result again. We continue to develop as a team. We did well the last few weeks and that should give us the belief to achieve something [tonight].”
