CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WRAP

In a match where the world best player was confined to a mere spectator Real Madrid  manage a slim one goal win over PSG. Thanks to array of mises from PSG misfiring strikers. This results has seen Real and Manchester City qualifed for the last-16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Galacticos advanced after beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 thanks to Nacho's 34th minute goal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real's progression from Group A was helped by Shakhtar Donetsk’s 4-0 win over Malmo.
City secured their spot in the next round with two games to spare following a 3-1 victory at Sevilla.
Raheem Sterling, Fernandinho and Wilfried Bony did the damage for Manuel Pellegrini's outfit, who benefitted from a 1-1 draw between Group D rivals Borussia Monchengladbach and Juventus.
Elsewhere Manchester United defeated CSKA 1-0 to go top of Group B courtesy of Wayne Rooney's 79th minute effort at Old Trafford.
The England captain moved level with Denis Law on 237 goals for the Red Devils when he nodded home Jesse Lingard's cross.
