EAGLES GETS TOUGH CHAN DRAW

  The super Eagles home base team has been drawn in a group that parades the likes of Tunisia, Guinea and Niger.The competition starts January 16 while the showpiece game will take place on February 7, 2016.

Super Eagles Coach Sunday Oliseh has admitted that his side will face a tough task in their bid to qualify for the knock out stages and wants preparations to start in earnest.

“From the line - up of the 16 participants, you will know that it will be a tough journey for everyone, ” the ex Borrusia Dortmund, Juventus and Ajax  midfielder said in statements published by the official Twitter account of the Super Eagles.

“Our group will be very competitive, we will make sure we prepare very well for the competition.

“For us, we will begin to plan and prepare for this competition after Tuesday’s game against Swaziland.”

The Super Eagles beat Burkina Faso 2 - 0 on aggregate to qualify for the CHAN tournament to be hosted by Rwanda next year.
Eagles are expected to parade the players from various club sides in Nigeria .  Some of the names expected to make the cut includes

Midfielders: Abdulrazaq Abdul (Enyimba FC); Ifeanyi Mathew (El-Kanemi Warriors); Usman Mohammed (FC Taraba); Bature Yaro (Nasarawa United); Osas Okoro (Enugu Rangers)
