The Nigerian registered his name on the scorers’ sheet as the Frogs were held at home by Diego Simeone’s men on Sunday evening
Nigeria’s Kalu Uche got a goal for Levante in their 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid on Sunday evening at the Ciutat de Valencia.
His 63rd minute strike looked to have given his team a home win before former Chelsea forward Fernando Torres equalized for the visitors in the 80th minute.
Despite controlling possession early on in Sunday's clash, Atletico fell behind just after the half-hour as David Barral netted his 11th of the season from close range.
That lead was wiped out almost immediately, though, as Guilherme Siqueira registered his first Atletico goal with a neat volley from six yards.
The hosts got the second goal as Uche escaped the attentions of Jose Gimenez to bundle home Lopez's cross.
The former Espanyol player was substituted with  Rafael Martins with less than four minutes to the end of the game.
Levante are now sure of retaining their La Liga status next season with 36 points from 36 games and 14th
Ikechukwu Uche Hails Kalu For Scoring Against Atletico Madrid
On similar note, Ikechukwu Uche took to Twitter to celebrate with his brother, Kalu Uche, for scoring against Atletico Madrid in the La Liga on Sunday afternoon.

Felicidades hermano, buen gol! #KaluUche,” Ike Uche posted on Twitter.

The Villarreal forward did not make the squad that faced Elche on Sunday evening due to a knee complaint.

Between them, Kalu and Ikechukwu Uche have played 39 games in the Spanish top flight, scoring 11 goals.
