TRANSFER GOSSIP...

Chelsea want Rickie Lambert (really?), the champions on Koke trail, Liverpool want Neto and more...

David de Gea to sign new Man United deal for 200k a week, Arsenal talk to Rosicky and Flamini and more...

Bayern Munich join the race for Bale, Barcelona want Bellerin and Herrera in January, Inter to give Toure four-year deal...
CHELSEA WANT LAMBERT?
Apparently there is a 'shortlist' to replace Didier Drogba at Chelsea next season and Rickie Lambert and Emmanuel Adebayor are both on that shortlist. Quite why the Premier League champions feel the need to have an ageing, slightly lumbering striker on the bench is a question that is left unanswered by the Daily Mirror.

'The newly-crowned Champions had the 33-year-old Liverpool striker watched as he played the whole of Saturday's 2-1 win over QPR,' apparently. Surely they were watching because Chelsea are playing Liverpool on Sunday?

Anyway, if we go along with this preposterous notion, Lambert may well have a decision to make in the summer - a bit-part role and possible trophies at Chelsea or regular football with mid-tablers like Crystal Palace?

CHELSEA IN KOKE DEAL?
'CHELSEA are in talks with Atletico Madrid over a £30million swap deal for Spain midfielder Koke,' claim the Daily Express 'exclusively'. Plans are already afoot for next season and the Atletico Madrid midfielder is apparently at the top of Chelsea's list (above Rickie Lambert, even?). Koke would certainly be an upgrade on Oscar and well worth the £30m (plus Felipe Luis) proposed by the Express.

The Express goes on to mention interest in striker Mauro Icardi, QPR keeper Robert Green and West Ham full-back Aaron Cresswell, who would presumably replace Luis in the squad as back-up to Cesar Azpilicueta.
