Leon Balogun Happy To Make It To Bundesliga With Darmstadt 98

Nigeria international Leon Balogun’s dreams of playing in the Bundesliga come next season is now a reality.

The right back played the full 90 minutes as Darmstadt 98 struggled to beat St Pauli 1 - 0 in the final round of games in the second - tier.

Following the victory, Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor outfit ended the season in second place with 59 points and automatically gained promotion to the topflight.
