Ighalo: I Want To Play In EPL

Super Eagles striker Jude Odion Ighalo says he wouldn’t want to leave England this summer, after helping Watford return to the English Premier League.

The 25-year old scored 20 goals to help Watford return to the English top flight and has been linked with several other clubs both within and outside of England but says he would love to remain and play in the English Premier League.

“The truth is only God knows where I’m going to play next season,” he said.

“I had a very good season and it’s normal for offers to come in but I still have a contract with Watford so I want to remain in England and I want to play in the Premier League.

“We will see how it goes with Watford because I still have a contract with the club but we’ll see how it goes.”

The former Udinese of Italy striker also went on relive his experience with Watford in the Championship.

“I have to thank God for the season because it was good both for me and the club. A lot of people didn’t give us a chance from the beginning but at the end we did it so I’m very happy we’ve gotten a Premier League ticket.”
