NIGERIANS CAPITAL ONE WRAP:

Chelsea again were dumped out capital one cup by Sokes in the fourth round . This was coincidentally the first trophy Mourinho won on his return to EPL.

Nigeria international John Obi Mikel played the full game for the Chelsea, Ola Aina was an unused substitute  while Peter Odemwingie was introduced in the 90th minute. and he converted his penalty.
Moses Odubajo and Chuba Akpom featured in Hull City’s win against Leicester City . England U21s striker Akpom came on in the 74th minute and scored The Tigers fourth spot kick.  Sone Aluko was not in the squad.

At Goodison Park, Ross Barkley was introduced in the 62n minute with Everton trailing Norwich City 1 - 0. The Three Lions midfielder netted his spot kick after extra - time.

Alex Iwobi lasted the distance as Arsenal were beaten 3 - 0 by Sheffield Wednesday.
