Neymar says Messi, Suarez and himself have silenced the critics

Barcelona star Neymar believes his thriving partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez has silenced their critics.
Many had questioned whether the trio would be able to play alongside each other when Suarez joined from Liverpool last year, yet move proved a masterstroke from the Catalans as the three scored 122 goals between them last season to help Barca win the treble.
Neymar feels they have proved their doubters wrong, while at the same time silencing his own nay-sayers.
"Some said we wouldn't get along well, but I knew they were wrong," Neymar told Barcelona's official website. "I think we surprised everyone. Before I came to Barcelona, they said I would be fighting with Leo and with other players as well.
"I knew that was not going to happen because those sort of things don't affect me. Messi has helped me a lot since I joined Barcelona.
"And we have a friendship both on and off the pitch with Suarez. We are really happy with how things are going on the pitch."
Following their successful 2014/15 campaign, Neymar admits it will be a tough challenge to replicate their form this season, with Barca losing two of their last three League matches to slip to fourth in the La Liga standings.
"We had a great season winning the Treble, and this [season] is more difficult. We have to do more than we have been to beat our opponents," he said.
"I want to continue making history in Barcelona; I want to win more titles."
The Blaugrana take on Rayo Vallecano in their next league fixture on Saturday, yet will still be without their injured talisman Messi, who is only due back next month.
