Hapoel Tel Aviv have hijacked Hapoel Haifa’s deal to sign former Rosenborg sensation John Chibuike. Hapoel Tel Aviv have pulled off a transfer coup after luring the attacking midfielder to the Reds, and he has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal that will run out at the end of the 2018-2019 season.
A possible move to Samsunspor (Turkey) had been on the cards before Chibuike committed his future to the 14-time Israeli champions.
The deal that took the 28-year-old to Hapoel Tel Aviv was brokered by Hasan Egilmez in collaboration with Shlomy Ben Ezra and Marco Salvatore.
