Gernot Rohr to Lead Eagles for 2 years.

Gernot Rohr bags 2-year contract to lead Nigeria
According to the Twitter handle of the NFF, Rohr has signed a two-year contract as technical adviser of the Super Eagles.

Officials disclosed he will be presented to the public and media next week.

At the weekend, the NFF technical committee recommended to the executive committee that the former Gabon and Niger coach be appointed after they met with him in Abuja.

His immediate task will be to qualify Nigeria to the 2018 World Cup after the Eagles failed to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations for second straight time.

Nigeria begin their qualifying campaign in Zambia on October 3.

They are also drawn against Algeria and Cameroon in a difficult group.
He has Managed some African Countries including Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and Gabon. He also managed clubs such as Girondins Bordeaux to UEFA cup final where they lost to Bayern Munich, Nantes, Etoile Du Sahel, Bordeaux Creteil, Nice,Young Boys, Ajacio. He has also worked as a sports director at Eintracht Frankfurt.
During his playing days, he played as a defender with Bayern Munich, SV Waldholf,Kickers Offenbach and Bordeaux.
