Antonio Martial dispels exit rumour

Antony Martial has hit back at a report suggesting he is looking for a Manchester United exit in the summer.
The striker has been in and out of Jose Mourinho’s XI all season, with the manager repeatedly saying that Martial must earn his place with his performances when given the opportunity.
The France star has scored twice in the Premier League having completed 90 minutes only once all season.
The Mirror reported on Sunday that Martial felt he was being squeezed out by Mourinho, with a move to PSG the most likely outcome.
But Martial used Twitter to respond to those reports on Monday.
Mourinho’s tough love approach appears to have done the trick with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and the United boss hopes a similar approach will benefit Martial in the long term.
The manager hit out at Martial’s agent in December following reports the attacker was being lined up for a move away fro United.
“Anthony has to listen to me and not his agent,” Mourinho said.
“With Martial, every day I read the newspaper; ‘Martial goes to Sevilla’, ‘Martial goes on loan’, ‘Martial is not happy’. Martial has to listen to me. He is a player with amazing conditions to be a top player.
“I know that he is a top talent, I knew that Mkhitaryan was a top talent and I was not playing him. In this moment he [Mkhitaryan] even plays left-back when the team is winning, to defend with a little bit more balance.
“The Mkhitaryan process, I was having almost every day Mkhitaryan’s agent calling me and saying he will be a better player with you, keep going.”
