Babatunde Dumps Volyn Over Unpaid Salaries

Nigerian international Michael Babatunde has terminated his contract with his Ukrainian club, Volyn, over breach of contract, the player has informed completesportsnigeria.com.
Babatunde revealed that he was owed seven months salaries and barely survived the just concluded season.
He also added that he is open to offers from clubs to further his career in  Europe.
"I'm the bread winner of my family and barely lived up to my responsibilities recently, so for me it was best to end it," he told completesportsnigeria.com.
Babatunde, currently with the Super Eagles squad preparing for next Saturday's AFCON qualifier against Chad, also revealed that his agent is in talks with some clubs in France, Scotland and Germany.
"There are talks ongoing with some teams but before the transfer window reopens I will decide on which team I will join," he told Completesportsnigeria.com Sunday evening.
Meanwhile Volyn coach Vitaliy kvartsyanyi revealed to football.ua that he's best players may not return to the club in August as they went on break with empty pockets.
