English Under 21 coach has named his under 21 squad for Euro Under 21 competition with omission of several outstanding Anglo-Nigerian players. Notable among the players whose name were omitted includes: Jordon Ibe (Liverpool) Dominic Solanke, Ola Aina, Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea). Chuba Akpom, Semi Ajayi, Alex Iwobi (Arsenal).Chuks Aneke (Zulte Waregem) Dele Alli, Joshua Onomah (Totemham). It is expected that NFF will cash on this omission and invite this players for various youth competition for Nigeria. see the list of invited players for England:

England will face Portugal, Sweden and Italy in the group stages of the tournament, which takes place in Czech Republic from 17–30 June.
